Temporary State or True Transformation

Transformation Defined

According to one dicitionary definition, transformation means a thorough or dramatic change in form or appearance.
Transformation can come about for example, through deliberate means or through more forced means as a result of stagnation.
When it comes to leadership transformation,  you can find a plethera of articles stating best practices and processes for transformation.  However, in the end, here’s what I discovered:

  1. There is less than expected return on investment.
  2. The change is typically not sustainable.
  3. The transformational experience is challenging.
  4. There is no real measurable change.

For over 25 years, I’ve been working in the transformational arena and have finally found the missing link required for true and sustainable transformation.

Temporary State or True Transformation

Under the context of leadership tranformation, many of the current transformational programs I’ve encountered don’t actually deliver on transformation.  There is often a temporary change in state,  how a leader temporarily experiences a situation. He/She may feel more empowered intially or more fulfilled yet that state experience doesn’t last. What occurs instead is arrested development:  high levels of toxic stress, overwhelm and possibly even burnout.

True transformation occurs when we develop vertically and horizontally.
Vertical development requires a change in the structures of our brain, our brain capacity and functioning which elevate our thinking and how we filter the world. Few programs can deliver on this and in this age of instant gratitifcation and silver bullet solutions, few leaders will commit to what it takes to experience measurable and sustainable transformation.

What’s at stake?

We are moving at an accelerated pace into greater uncertainty and chaos which is requiring leaders and organizations to radically evolve and transform to keep pace. WE must be the solution.

As part of my leadership evolution and personal transformation, last year, I also enrolled and became certified in a program that claimed to deliver YOU as a NEW HUMAN. A powerful claim to transformation. And the program far exceeded all expectations.

This was a truly transformative process of elevating higher brain structures for vertical and horizantal development backed by academic and scientific validation.  My post EEG brain scan, showed an increase in overall brain power, intensified gamma waves and coherence leading to greater systems thinking, transrational knowing and the ability to experience challenges as opportunities.

I don’t need to provide any other context to support just how  miraculous this program is. However, in a another post, I will share more about how last year radically tested my resilence in every dimension of my life giving new meaning to the profundity of this work.

What’s the point?

If you are looking for true leadership transformation that impacts your entire life professionally and personally, then please choose someone who both knows the difference between a temporary state experience and true transformation. Please choose someone who has actually experienced true transformation and can offer you the map to experience it too.
